As thousands of young legal minds across the country mark a significant turning point in their professional lives, Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, has extended a message of warm congratulations and counsel to the latest entrants into the legal profession.
In a statement released on the occasion of the July 2025 Call to Bar ceremonies, which span from Tuesday through Thursday, the respected Senior Advocate, Life Bencher, and former General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, hailed the new wigs for their perseverance and sacrifice.

“This moment marks the culmination of years of dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance,” Akinboro said.
“You are not only joining a noble profession; you are becoming custodians of justice, advocates of truth, and defenders of the rule of law.”
While celebrating their achievement, Akinboro offered a sober reminder of the responsibility that comes with their new status.
He urged the new wigs to embrace the practice of law with humility, courage, and discipline, stressing that the journey ahead would test both their skills and character.
