It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that I extend my condolences to my dear friend and colleague, Olumide Osaigbovo Akpata, on the passing of his beloved father, Dr. Henry Omorogieva Akpata.
Dr. Akpata was more than a father; he was a pillar of strength, a beacon of wisdom, and a man deeply committed to family, service, and community. At 84, he lived a full life marked by grace, dignity, and purpose. His values are clearly reflected in the life and character of his son, Olumide, who has carried the Akpata legacy into national service with distinction and honour.
In these moments of loss, words often fall short. But may the beautiful memories of your father, his unwavering love, and the lasting impact he made in the lives of those around him bring comfort to you and the entire Akpata family. May God grant you peace, fortitude, and the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
